Stay in the heart of a historic Sierra Nevada apple orchard, where apples have been grown since 1920. This cozy one-bedroom, one-bath Barn House offers an orchard and mountain property to explore, with sweeping views toward the high Sierra. Visit our farm store Friday–Sunday for coffee, pastries and handcrafted goods from mountain artisans. Just minutes from Shaver Lake, it’s a peaceful mountain getaway with plenty of room to relax and explore.

Good to know

Cozy Barn House on a working orchard with a large covered front porch and a very large covered back porch, providing plenty of space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The back porch can also be used for covered parking. Guests are welcome to explore approximately 20 acres of historic apple orchard and 20 acres of forested mountain property.

Quiet hours: 10:00 PM–8:00 AM No parties or events without prior approval. No smoking or vaping indoors. Registered guests only unless additional visitors are approved in advance. Pets must be supervised and under control while on the property. No open fires except in designated areas, and only when current fire restrictions allow. Drive and park only in designated areas. Children must be supervised around the orchard and property. Do not pick fruit unless the orchard is open for U-pick or you have permission. Please dispose of trash in the provided bins and leave the house reasonably tidy.

A vehicle is recommended for exploring the area. Once you arrive at Meadow Lakes Orchard, the property itself is easy to explore on foot. Nearby lakes, trails, restaurants and Sierra National Forest destinations are best reached by car.
